General Overview

Fond du Lac is a city with a population of approximately 43,000 located at the southernmost point of Lake Winnebago, one of the largest inland lakes in the United States.  It is about 60 miles north of Milwaukee and Madison and another 60 miles south of Green Bay. It is home to beautiful Lakeside Park, where various events occur throughout the year, including Walleye Weekend in June and the Sturgeon Spectacular in February. The Fond du Lac School District employs approximately 550 teachers, 105 instructional assistants, 85 support staff, 70 facility services staff and 39 administrators. Our District is dedicated to attracting and retaining the best and brightest individuals to create optimal classroom environments and learning experiences for our 6,400 students. The District comprises one high school - Grades 9-12 (with an alternative option), three middle schools – Grades 6-8, nine elementary schools and the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Academy – Grades 6-12.

Application Process for Community Ed and Rec Department Positions

The Fond du Lac School District Community Education and Recreation Department provides recreation and leisure services to the residents of the Fond du Lac School District and extends outside those boundaries as well. It offers a wide variety of adult and youth sports, instructional, aquatic and fitness programs for all ages. In providing these types of activities, they may need individuals who are interested in working in positions within the Aquatics Center or as playground leaders, scorekeepers, class instructors and officials.

Chartwells - Food Service

Chartwells, the food service provider for the District, is looking for full-time, part-time and substitute Food Service Workers. Schedules for full-time are usually from 7a - 1:30p and part-time and substitutes usually work from 8:30a to 1:30p. Experience is helpful, but not necessary.
