Fine Arts

On behalf of all of the music, art and theatre educators in the Fond du Lac School District, thank you for your interest and support for instruction in the arts and its value as a part of every child's well-rounded education. All of these students will take their artistic experience with them far into life. They will be the group which inherits our world and is tasked with finding cures for cancer, pollution, economic disparity, and much more. They will use the skills they developed by working in groups, of contributing to something much larger than themselves, and of executing their role so that others can be successful. The performing and visual arts will teach them through human interaction and personal growth how to:

  • develop social skills and the ability to work with others, teamwork and cooperation

  • develop self-discipline and a sense of responsibility

  • build self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment

  • cultivate creativity and critical thinking skills

  • improve communication, and

  • develop coordination

When students engage in an arts education, they engage in a process that nourishes excellence. The very aspect of learning a musical instrument or an artistic technique not only teaches students to create, it teaches students how to learn. It also teaches them that sometimes life is anything but beautiful, but that sometimes there is beauty in the imperfect, particularly when it brings humans together.

Fine Arts Boosters

  • FHS Orchestra Boosters - For more information about the FHS Orchestra Booster Parent Organization, please email Kim Henning

  • FHS Band BoostersThe mission of the FHS Band Booster is to encourage and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various phases of the band programs at Fond du Lac High School and to lend all possible support, both moral and financial, to the general band program of Fond du Lac High School.

  • FHS Choir Boosters - The FHS Choral Booster Parents Organization is designed to support the Choral Program at Fondy High School. While we support the program through a variety of means, the most tangible is through financial support. The organization raises funds for the program as a whole, as well as offers opportunities to raise funds for individual student trip accounts.

Fond du Lac Music Parents Association

The Fond du Lac Music Parents Association is a parent led, all volunteer organization supporting music K-12 music programs including general music, orchestral music, band music and choral music in the Fond du Lac School District.  Annually we raise and distribute over $10,000.00 to general, instrumental and vocal music programs in our district. One hundred percent (100%) of funds raised are given back in the form of student scholarships and teacher wish lists.

Music Parents meet the third Thursday of each month August through May. Feel free to join us at our meetings. All parents and family members are welcome!

Our major fundraising is through SCRIP and concessions at the high school football games and the county fair.  By purchasing SCRIP through Music Parents you support our district music programs, however, we also offer cash back for (all - music, sports, registration, etc) school related expenses.

Please visit our website at Music Parents or contact us at fonddulacmusicparents@gmail.com if you would like to join our organization or would like to know more about our SCRIP program.
