This week is National Arts in Education Week, a nationwide celebration highlighting the transformative impact of the arts in education. Established by Congress in 2010, the week emphasizes the importance of arts programs. It encourages elected officials and educational leaders to ensure that all students, regardless of background, have equal access to the arts.
The Fond du Lac School District is proud of its strong arts education programs during the school day and through additional co-curricular offerings.
Let's celebrate all the great things happening in Fondy Fine Arts, with amazing students as participants and dedicated teachers and staff as wonderful stewards.

Karen Buechel
Started as an Instructional Aide at Evans and Parkside, now serving as the Library Media Secretary at Chegwin, Riverside and Woodworth.
Christine Krueger
Began as a German and Science teacher at Sabish Middle School and continues to inspire as a Science teacher at Sabish Middle School.
Vicki Luczak
First taught elementary Phy. Ed and now teaches Physical Education at Chegwin Elementary while also coordinating Driver’s Education.
Gina Marchionda-Schneider
Started her career teaching at Parkside Elementary and is now a technology integration instructional coach in the Technology Services Department.
Michelle Paulson
Began teaching fourth grade at Lakeshore Elementary and currently empowers students as a fifth grade teacher at Riverside Elementary.
Kristi Serwe
Started as an elementary counselor at Roberts and Franklin/Riverside and continues her impactful work as a school counselor at Riverside Elementary.

We encourage students to stop briefly (particularly 6th graders) in our main hallway to receive a printed schedule. As advertised, schedules are subject to change for various reasons, and we recently made changes that may have occurred after students saw their original. This will not impact locker assignments. Thanks
We are EXCITED to see you tomorrow night at Theisen's Open House! Last name A-L 6:00-6:45 p.m. Last name M-Z 6:45-7:30 p.m. Meet the teachers, visit your lockers, learn room locations and pay for school fees! Athletic code meeting from 5:30-6:00 p.m. and again 7:30-8:00 p.m.
Reminder that due to construction, you will need to enter Theisen using the Martin Avenue entrance. Look for the Theisen Tiger flags!

Tuesday Aug 20 hrs: 2:00pm -5:30pm
Aug 21 & 22 remain the same (8:00am-4:00pm).
